WOMAN CHILD

i found you
on a road with no direction
you wanted some affection
i was there to deliver
we both had some laughs
we found some common ground
but deep inside we wanted more
the desires may differ
but they both ran deep
deeper than a heavy sleep

the trials of life
have left you with tears of blood
in your summer eyes
woman the more i know you
the more i want to make you mine
explain to me
the emotional impact i feel for you
reach down & touch it
before it fades away

pretty woman child
give me your tangible smile
let me enter your sweet flesh
take me to a lost river
and drown with me

you're on the highway again
the road is getting you everywhere
but to the place i need you
woman i'm holding up the off ramp
that drives you to me
it's like you're still here
but my arms are still empty
